    It was a pleasure having you here last Saturday. We could share our memories and ideas about the Second World War. It is amazing how many more people show interest in this period than in in the past years.

    I chair the Cruisers Group at the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco and we are looking for a possible speaker for September 8th?

    Hi Jack,

    I read your letter in this month’s Latitude 38. The Cerritos Optimist Club would love to hear about your adventures if you find yourself in area.

    We are a group of roughly 90 members, mostly men at or near retirement. Our meetings generally have 35 to 40 in attendance. We meet every Thursday. On the 1st, 2nd and 4th Thursday, we meet for breakfast from 7:00 to 8:00 am at The Off Street Café. On the 3rd Thursday of each month, we meet for dinner at 7:00 pm at Café n Stuff in Downey.

    Cerritos is close to Long Beach and I can provide transportation to and from the meeting if needed.
