The wind has turned
back to a Northerly and I plan to pull up stakes from Khios early in the

The German Trans-Ocean
club turned out to be nothing more than a help in providing links to potential
marine insurers. I have put in an

I found the
significance to the strange “arc of the covenant” under the Sycamore branch picture
on yesterday’s blog, in a tourist brochure, I collected. The (current) Saint
George Orthodox church was never a Synagogue. But it was once used as a Mosque
and this was a sarcophagus used to cleanse the Muslims. It was once a Roman
Catholic Church under the Venetians/Genovese traders/occupiers.
I had a load of
laundry done, Seventeen dollars, Ouch!..
The French have take
over this harbor, three against one Dutch and one American boat….
